Barbie Spoilers:

I woke up in the middle of the night with the realization that Barbie initially sets off on a mission to cheer up the 'girl' who was having the existential, 'weird', thoughts but at some point, she abandons the "cheering up" part of that mission. Barbie meets Gloria and her daughter, and she realizes that Gloria was the one who had those thoughts, but there's never a scene where she tries to get Gloria to change her attitude. Barbie sat in that park and she came to terms with her own emotions, and as the movie went on, she continued to experience the ups and downs of being human, of being a woman, and in doing so, she validated Gloria's feelings. Gloria didn't need to change, she didn't need to stop having these thoughts and emotions. She was completely valid having her own existential feelings and processing her feelings through Barbie, like so many people do.

All I'm saying is 911 writers can play their cards right and make Buddie canon without making it a big deal (on the show). Treat it like any other couple getting together. Like how Steven DeKnight/Spartacus writers did with Nagron. It's a show about manly men gladiators, Nagron kiss and no one blinks an eye. They just accept them as them.

*Agron kisses Nasir* Spartacus is like: ok, cool. let's go on this mission. I wanna kill Glaber.

Other gladiators are like: on it, boss.

And Nagron are all PDA around the camp and no one makes any comments. They just focus on what they need to do, which is to flee and kill the fucking Roman shit.
